These movies were made in 1997 during research for my masters thesis, and represents early pursuit of generative art systems. The goal as with much of my work was to create the software structures that makes movies or still mages without my intervention.

The process entailed capturing still images autonomously from the Turner Classic Movie channel, and then batch processing using Debabelizer scripting to randomly collage the stills. I generated thousands of collages in this manner. Later I took the collages and made them in movies as a method for presentation.
